Julie is a San Francisco / Bay Area jewelry designer and metal artist. She has been creating her one-of-a-kind pieces in Sonoma and Marin for 15 years.

Artist Statement
"As a little girl, watching old swashbuckling movies with my mother, I would dream of finding buried treasure. I raised the lid of the treasure chest and out spilled ropes of pearls, gems, jewels, and gold coins. How could I ever find these objects of beauty and magic?

I've been an artist all my life and of the many mediums in which I have worked, it is metal smithing and jewelry that have been the endless sources of fascination and excitement. Rich high karat golds, fine silver and the aged imperfections of ancient jewelry inspire my designs. For me, jewelry is more than ornamentation; it should create classically distinctive luxury and romance even in the smallest pair of silver earrings.

Repetition is something I have no patience for, so all of my pieces are one of a kind. My customers enjoy knowing that their jewels are each signed original designs.

Now I have the ability to create my own treasure chest, and the pleasure of doing it for others."
