CELEBRATING 20 YEARS!!!

Marin Jewelers Guild opened at Artworks Downtown in San Rafael in the fall of 1999 following the collaboration of Phyllis Thelan, the founder of AWD, College of Marin Jewelry Professor Mike Chaille and a number of his students. Phyllis felt the Jewelry Arts were an important part of a thriving artist community, Artworks had been established for 3 years and there was a strong desire to add a Jewelers Guild. 

The Guild is a warm, bright Gallery that shows the work of Jewelers and Metalsmiths who may be emerging artists or masters of their craft. Fine jewelry is displayed alongside rustic, sculptural pieces. Special exhibits from invited guests add dimension and the student shows are always fun!
