It is amazing how geologic forces create minerals and crystals that come together to create gems, colors, and textures beyond our imagination. As a lapidary artist, I love to artistically reshape stones and crystals to accentuate their beauty, rarity, and unique properties.

My jewelry is always focused on the stone and I love incorporating natural, untreated, high quality and rare stones that I have cut myself into my jewelry designs. Combined with the rich colors of real silver and gold, I like to hand craft one-of-a-kind jewelry creations that will become special keepsakes that you can enjoy for life.

Welo Opal Pendant and 22k Gold. I cut this very bright and gemmy opal from a parcel of Ethiopian opal. Has multi-flashes of all the colors of the sky with blue, green, orange, red and yellow. This opal is exceptionally large and gemmy throughout. Set in a 22K gold bezel with 22K gold accents. Base layer is textured sterling silver and comes with an 18 inch 14K gold filled chain.
Opals naturally contain 4-10% water. It is NOT recommended to shower, wash, or expose opals to long periods of water contact.

A mix of freeform shaped gemstones that I cut with embellished gallery wire in fine silver and sterling silver components. Tsavorite Garnet Ring in Gold & Silver. I faceted this deep emerald green garnet from Tanzania in one of my favorite designs called ‘Classic’ with 58 facets. These garnets are rare in sizes over a carat and this stone measures at 1.06 carats. The color is intense and vibrant and is set in 18K gold bezel with 14K Gold textured band over silver. The band texture has been lasered in with a custom pattern I designed and comes in a size 7.

Montana Sapphire Gold & Silver Ring. I cut this beautiful Blue Green Montana sapphire in a design called ‘Mini Mint’. The design has extra facets on the table to accentuate the brilliance of the stone. There are over 70 total facets in the design which are cut at least 4 times each! The sapphire is ¾ of a carat and set in 18K gold with a 14K textured gold band over silver. Ring is size 6 ¾ .

Tourmaline Ring in Gold and Silver. I cut this high quality Afghan tourmaline in a design called ‘Turtle Checker’ with over 70 facet cuts. It’s a unique design with a diamond checkerboard design cut on the table. Beautiful Indicolite tourmaline crystal at 0.8 ct in set in an 18K gold bezel. Ring shank is textured sterling silver in a size 6 ¾ ring.

Quartz with Copper Pendant. I cut this rare material from a specimen from Indonesia. The quartz crystal is included with veins of elemental copper that shine in the sun. I cut it in a large teardrop shape. It is set with a unique orange-pink Malaya Garnet that I cut with a ‘Classic’ brilliant design. Accent copper beads are set on sterling silver and 18’ silver chain is included.

I cut this Lapis from rough acquired at the ancient mines in Afghanistan. Rich Royal blue color with attractive gold flecks of pyrite included throughout the stone. Set in pure silver bezel and highlighted with 22K gold using the Korean Keumboo technique. Sterling silver components with 18” chain included.

Rhodolite Garnet Ring with Gold.
I custom cut this Intense Purplish pink rhodolite garnet from Congo, Africa. This area is well known for its unique garnet colors. The design is called ‘Clocktower’ and has a unique small square table which allows for more facets to be placed on the crown creating better scintillation and brightness. The stone is 1.8 carats and is set in 18K gold with a silver/14K gold shank with a custom texture that I created. Size 7.5 ring.

Tanzanian Sunstone with Malaya Garnet Pendant. I cut this large sheet of sunstone from Tanzania. It has platelet inclusions of natural copper which create small reflective orange flashes. I cut the Malaya garnet with 58 facets in my favorite design and it has combinations of bright orange and pink. Made in Fine & sterling silver and comes with a thick 18” sterling chain.

Rhodolite Garnet pendant in 18K gold. I cut this pink/purple 2.2 ct garnet with a special facet design called ‘Green Zero’.
The garnet comes from Kenya and the setting is 18K gold with a silver internal bezel and a 14K gold filled chain. With these elements I am able to keep the costs lower yet attain a high gold look with an incredible stone. Chain is 18” with a lobster clasp.
