Copper in Quartz Ring.

I got lucky and found this rare seam of elemental copper in a specimen of quartz with blue Chrysocolla imbedded next to the copper seam. Elemental (pure) copper is rarely found in nature particularly with such a large seam. This specimen comes from Indonesia and is set in fine silver with a hand hammered and textured ring band with selective polishing to accentuate the texture. Size 6 ¾
