I studied jewelry design at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada and more recently at the College of Marin.

My unique kiln fired jewelry is inspired by nature and imagination and has a whimsical quality. The various techniques include Cloisonne which is the process of melting fine glass enamel between wires of gold or silver and layered and fired many times to achieve the desired height and effect. The finished enamel is then set into a sterling silver mounting. Other techniques include Champleve where the enamel is melted into a recessed area that has been etched with resists on copper or silver sheet or stamped into copper or silver precious metal clay. These techniques are sometimes combined with etched and forged metals held together with rivet or screw and include stones, gems, or fused dichroic glass.

Each piece is handcrafted by me and has it's own unique quality.
