The artists of the Marin Jewelers Guild want you to be thrilled with your purchases. Therefore, if you are not satisfied with your jewelry for any reason, you may return it for credit. Please review our return policies below, or give us a call.
If you are not satisfied with your jewelry (for any reason), you may return it for credit within fourteen calendar days of receiving it. Jewelry must be in its original, new, unworn, undamaged condition to be eligible for return.
Your return package must be postmarked within fourteen calendar days after receiving your package. A copy of your original receipt must be included with your returned item. Please note the reason for return on the receipt.
Returned items must be in their original condition to receive credit for the full amount. The Marin Jewelers Guild reserves the right to refuse credit for items that are in an unacceptable condition.
Gifts may be returned for store credit or exchange only.
Please note that your credit can be used at any time to purchase an item from our online shop or from our store at 1331 4th street in San Rafael, CA.
All return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility and cannot be refunded. Please pack jewelry in a well-padded container and ship using UPS or USPS. Shipping insurance is not required but recommended. Marin Jewelers Guild is not responsible for damages or loss incurred in return shipping. Once your authorized return has been received and examined, you will be issued a credit within one week, not including the original or return shipping costs. You will receive an email confirmation of your credit once it is processed.
Please note: custom items are final sales and cannot be returned.
We charge a $13.15 flat rate for shipping and handling, plus insurance for up to four small items (earrings, bangles, link bracelets, pendants with chains). This includes tracking for all orders weighing four pounds and under and/or valued under $500. We use USPS. For larger items, (such as a large necklace or a cuff bracelet) our standard shipping charge will be $20 plus insurance (based on the price of the piece).

All domestic Priority Mail comes with a tracking number. Contact us if your tracking number is not forwarded to you automatically when we ship your package.
Domestic items that do not arrive at the correct address or get lost in the mail are the responsibility of the buyer, and not Marin Jewelers Guild. Marin Jewelers Guild does not provide refunds or replacements for items that do not arrive. Because all boxes are sent Priority with a tracking number, we have proof of mailing for all boxes that we mail.
Expedited shipping is available, but you must contact us to process additional shipping charges required for those services before shipment is possible. Please refer to the rush orders section for additional information about expedited production fees.

Remember that Marin Jewelers Guild is not a factory, and all jewelry is carefully handmade just for you! Your order will be completed as promptly as possible.
You will receive your jewelry within 1-3 weeks of payment. Large orders, such as wedding parties, and custom designs will be shipped within 2-4 weeks of payment. During busy holiday times, custom or large orders may take as long as 4-8 weeks to complete so please order early.
You will receive an email notification when your package has been shipped. Please allow 2-7 business days for transit time within the U.S. once your package has shipped by USPS Priority Mail.
You will be notified as soon as possible if any unexpected delays are expected with your order fulfillment due to unforeseen circumstances. During busy holiday times, it is best to order early in order to avoid shipping delays.
